  • Year 2041? - Why is Durham Region trying to PUSH / FORCE an incinerator in Clarington right now?

    Durham Region is trying to force an approval through without proper approvals and assesments  FACT: During emergency political management protocal (aka COVID) thier is no approval or debate process.  Mayors, Regional Managers, Premiers and the Priminister do not need approvals to execute decisions.   


  • Speculation on population growth of 2041? In 20 Years? Why are we not focussed on COVID issues?

    Reduce & Re-use is a bettter approach, why would the Region plan to  burn garbage for a speculation on population in 20 years?   Now is the time to push things through under the emergency management protocals  aka "COVID"!   

  • The Region is claiming they "must manage" the increase in garbage - what happened to reducing it?

    The Region of Durham is not working on reducing waste as they should, it seems they are motivated by differnt factors or favours that might be owed to campaign contributors like Miller Waste?

  • Mixed Waste? - "Pre Sorted" Mixed Waste? - Oh 'and' Anaerobic Digestion!

    Mixed waste?  So waste that is all mixed with of all kinds of poisonous materials, chemicals, & dioxins?

      

    Pre-Sorted Mixed Waste?  So mixed waste that should have already been sorted into recycling bins and green bins?


    An Anirobic Digestion facility that is supposed to receive NON SORTED waste that is right next to an Incinerator? 


    Who will be responsible for picking out the rotting food waste from the contaminated waste that arrives on the trucks?
