The Region of Durham has been promoting this as an AD organic digester but the real facts are is that its a Pre Sorted Mixed waste.

Health concerns for residence

Dioxin is a chemical waste product from waste, the negative health effects are well documented in both animal and human studies. Dioxins cause cancer.

No environmental assessments

Durham Region council is trying to force this facility into Clarington now during Covid emergency orders where standard procedure can be avoided.

No community consultation

The Region of Durham has not done  proper environmental or health assessments especially post Covid!  How does Dioxin effect health with Covid as a variable.
